Myanmar, China main border trade center exchange at US$225 million

The center mainly exported farm products such as rice, bean, corn and sesame.

Myanmar has exported 14886 tons of ehmeta (approximately US$6.65 million in value), 11,537 tons of ngesein (approximately US$5.08 million in value) and 13922 tons of broken rice (approximately US$4.73 million in value). Myanmar has earned US$16.46 million in total from the exported rice.

Myanmar has also exported mung bean, corn, peanut and white sesame and earned US$46.78 million in total. More than half of exported earnings are earned from farm products export.

Myanmar mostly imported vehicles, machines, fertilizers and iron ores.

Muse border trade center is a main border trade hub for Myanmar and China and has traded more than US$2.7 billion last year alone.
