Bengali students who are attending the government's basic education schools in Rakhine State don't sing the national anthem and salute the State's flag, according to Education Department.

"They [Bengali] don't sing not only national anthem but also don't salute the state flag. Especially, Bengali teachers who are appointed by the government do like this," Hla Sein Tun, Assistance Teacher from Rakhine State Education Department said.

Ethnic teachers were suspended temporally to serve the duties in relief camps and basic education schools where there were no Rakhine ethnic teachers.

Although, Rakhine Investigation Commission Report described that every Bengali must teach the literature like civics to be become a polite student, Bengali students didn't obey the rule.

That's why the Education Department has already reported to the respective departments.

"We teach civics to the Bengali students but they don't obey it. So, we have already reported those careless to government officials. Bengali children how they salute the state flag because Bengali men didn't salute the flag," Hla Sein Tun added.

Currently, temporary schools are being opened at the refugee camps for Bengali and Bengali teachers had been appointed there.

Moreover, there are over 40 schools in Buthetaung and Maungtaw Townships where only Bengali students are now attending there.

As ethnic teachers faced the difficulties to serve their duties due to security, the authorities pointed out Bengali teachers must teach their children.

All government schools are being opened in Rakhine state.
