BIDS INVITED FOR SPIDER CAMERAS FOR SEA GAMES OPENING AND CLOSING CEREMONIES

The Ministry of Culture which would take charge of the opening and
closing ceremonies of upcoming SEA Games has invited tenders for
purchase and hiring of spider cameras from local and foreign
suppliers.


The application forms are available between August 5-15 and the bids
are to be submitted by August 31.


The opening and closing ceremonies of the games will be hosted in
Wunna Theiddhi Stadium in Nay Pyi Taw with the capacity of 60000
attendance on December 11 and 22.


Myanmar will host XXVII SEA Games for the first time in history in
three major cities, namely Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon and Mandalay, and
Ngwehsaung beach.


The last two shortlisted bidders will be allowed to participated in
face-to-face auction.


In a separate report by the government-run newspaper Myanma Alinn, the
organizers have arranged 27 hotels in Nay Pyi Taw for accommodation of
participating athletes in the games.


Myanmar SEA Games in coming December will feature 33 sports and 26 of
them will be played in Nay Pyi Taw venues most which have already been
completed ahead of the games.
