E Coli outbreak at Burma Superstar: Tbe San Francisco Department of Public Health is investigating the origins of an E Coli outbreak that may be linked to Burma Superstar, a popular Inner Richmond Restaurant. Investigators say that more than half of those infected were exposed to the bacteria after eating at the restaurant  August 18 or 19. So far, there have been no fatalities.

Tree City: We all know that San Francisco loves its shrubbery. In fact, according to The Urban Forest Map of San Francisco, there are more than 88,000 trees scattered throughout the city's seven-by-seven borders. But only 0.1% are native to the San Francisco Bay region. Which ones are? Learn more here.

And now that you know a little more about the neighborhood's trees, get outside and enjoy the good weather!
