SINGAPORE: Nineteen more athletes have been included in the squad for the upcoming SEA Games in Myanmar.

They come from seven sports -- swimming, judo, sepak takraw, wushu, archery, chess, and billiards snooker.

Their selection follows an appeal to the Singapore National Sports Council.

Earlier in August, 286 athletes across 24 sports were given the preliminary nod to represent Singapore at the Games in December. With the latest numbers, more than 300 athletes will be headed to Myanmar.

SNOC will submit the names to the selectors for approval on the September 27.
