Organizers of Miss Universe Myanmar 2013 added four more contestants
to the final showdown on their road to Moscow Miss Universe finale,
according to the state-run Myanma Alinn report.
The selection came after the Miss Universe Myanmar contest at
Kandawgyi Palace Hotel in Yangon on 22 September.
The organizers have already selected 20 participants for Miss Universe
Myanmar 2013 contest and the additional selection was to replace those
who quitted the contest.
"We have already shortlisted 20 finalists since 12 September for Miss
Universe Myanmar 2013.
We selected four more as some of them quitted
for some reasons," spokesperson Tun Lin Thu of Miss Universe Myanmar
told Myanma Alinn.
Miss Universe 2013 will be hosted by Moscow of Russia at Cross City
Hall and will be participated by 74 countries.
Only 13 countries including Myanmar have yet to submit the names of
their participants for the most prestigious beauty contest.
