Myanmar Private Airline To Expand Routes This Month

YANGON, Nov 4 (Bernama) -- Myanmar's private airline -- Golden Myanmar -- will expand its domestic and international routes with Airbus planes starting this month, China's Xinhua news agency quoted sources with the airline as saying on Monday.

As it is about 40 days countdown for hosting 27th SEA Games in the country, there will be an increase in the arrival of visitors.

Golden Myanmar Airline will ply the new destinations with the new XY-AGT A-320 Airbus as of Nov 15.

The airline operated Yangon-Mandalay-Singapore-Bangkok routes daily with XY-AGS A-320 Air Bus starting from January this year.

It is also learnt that various airlines expanded domestic routes at reasonable price.

Golden Myanmar Airline was established in 2012 and was operating flight routes with Airbus 320 conveniently.

Meanwhile, there is a total of 24 international airlines flying to Myanmar and seven airlines operating domestically.
