Myanma Posts and Telegraphs, the government mail service provider, will provide gift delivery services as it seeks to revive the dilapidated industry, according to a report by the Voice.
The mail service arm will deliver birthday presents, New Year gifts and so on door to door as from 2014, according to manager of Yangon Posts Office Shwe Htoo Maung.
The service would deliver the present precisely on time, according to the manager.
The service will first cover the Yangon area and then spread its coverage to regions and states within 2014.
The Posts Office has yet to confirm the fees for services as the price is under negotiation, according to the report.
The Yangon Posts Office will later announce the service charges and further details of the services, according to the report.
