On 3 January 2014, an Award Ceremony was held by a Chinese Myanmar Entrepreneur in honor of the Winners of 27th SEA games of Myanmar in Traders Hotel Yangon. It was attended by Chinese Ambassador Mr. Yang Houlan, Yangon Chief Minister U Myint Swe, Deputy Union Minister for Sport U Thaung Htaik, Chairman of Myanmar-China Friendship Association U Sein Win Aung, Yangon Mayor U Hla Myint, together with other representatives of friendly societies from Yangon, totaling 200.
Mr. Yang congratulated Myanmar on successfully holding the Games and the Myanmar athletes on their great performance and results, which has highly improved the image of the country. Gratitude were also received by the Ambassador from all sides for China's tremendous support and generous assistance.
