Denko gets green light for oil depot project

Denko Trading Company owned by business tycoon Chit Khaing has been granted permission to build an oil depot according to the Myanmar Investment Commission.
The company will implement the project on 24 acres land of Thilawa Deep Sea port under a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) agreement authorised by the transportation ministry and Myanmar Ports Authority.
Denko's project is an industrial oil storage facility with tanks and terminal. The company is also running gas stations and auto service centres across the country.
Apex Gas and Oil, Padauk Shwe War Port and Petroleum, Thuriya Energy Deport Management, International Group of Entrepreneur, Green Asia Services, Max Myanmar and Elite Petrochemical, Myat Myittar Mon and Kaung Myanmar Aung Shipping are also operating under the BOT system.
