Cedric Charlier took us to his studio, where the stitches are loosely left in a chaotic way on the dresses, ruffles are being created in an artistic way and different embroideries done with a new mood. The summer by Charlier just felt like it- slightly raw, straight from the studio, but at the same time very smart and chic. We had delicate pastels of pink, blue and green, and also strong orange and red. The blazers had all the stitches left alone, lazily hanging from the model's back. The show had a Maison Martin Margiela atmosphere- the "un-done" effect was in the air. And the non-chalance of wearing clothes feels very Parisian- well, it's Cedric Charlier of course.
