Burmese migrants stuck on boats described by the United Nations as "floating coffins" are killing each other over dwindling food and water supplies, say witnesses.
Thousands of traumatised and starving Burmese refugees are believed to be stranded at sea in temperatures as high as 34C. About 100 people were reported to have died in a fight over food on one boat. Refugees in other vessels have died of thirst.
