MYANMAR DRILLING UPDATE: CHAUK DEVELOPMENT WELL CHK 1169


COMPLETED AS AN OIL PRODUCER

Interra Resources Limited (the "Company" or "Interra") wishes to inform shareholders that its jointly controlled entity, Goldpetrol Joint Operating Company Inc. ("Goldpetrol"), has completed drilling infill development well CHK 1169 in the Chauk oil field in Myanmar as an oil producer.

Interra has a 60% interest in the Improved Petroleum Recovery Contract of the Chauk field and also owns 60% of Goldpetrol which is the operator of the field. Since the well was drilled using Goldpetrol's Cooper LTO 350 rig, costs were comparatively low. Interra's share of the cost of drilling was funded from existing funds on hand.

CHK 1169 was drilled to a total depth of 2,685 feet as an infill well to producing wells CHK 1157 and CHK 1167. CHK 1169 has the objective of accelerating oil production from the reservoirs found in CHK 1157 and CHK 1167, as well as other reservoirs that produce in this fault block. CHK 1169 has been completed through casing perforation at 60 barrels of oil per day in six of these reservoirs.

CHK 1169 marks the fifth well drilled in Chauk oil field and the tenth drilled in the

Myanmar asset in 2013, all of which have been completed as oil producers.
