Customs Football Club, the most successful football club in Myanmar's
history, beat Actor Stars Football Club, an amateur football team
formed with film starts 2-1 in the friendly in Bahtoo Stadium in
Mandalay on November 14, Premier Eleven sports journal reported.
The Customs FC fielded a host of legends including Myo Hlaing Win, Soe
Myat Min, Tun Tun Win and Aung Kyaw Moe.
The Actor Stars FC was featured by famous movie stars Lumin, Yazar Nay
Win, Pyay Ti Oo and Kyaw Kyaw Bo.
Former Myanmar international Soe Myat Win scored twice for the Customs FC.
Lumin scored equalizer from the spot kick in the second half of the
friendly game which was part of the pre-SEA Games activities.
The New Star Light Co Ltd, one of the sponsors of the event, presented
cash award to players from both team.
The Customs Football Club withdrew from Myanmar's football area after
the professional league came to life about four years ago in Myanmar.
Myanmar will host its first SEA Games in Yangon, Nay Pyi Taw and
Mandalay in upcoming December.
