Only four swimmers will represent the country in the 27th Southeast Asian Games set Dec. 11-22 in Myanmar.
They are London Olympians Jessie King Lacuna and Jasmine Alkhaldi and Fil-Americans Joshua Hall and Matt Louis Navata.
Their inclusion was approved by Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) president Jose Cojuangco and Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) chairman Ricardo Garcia.
The country is sending 203 athletes and 79 coaches and officials to Myanmar.
The Philippines finished sixth two years ago in Indonesia, collecting 36 golds, 56 silvers and 77 bronzes. (Clyde Mariano)
