Bandung. A draw in Wednesday's match against Myanmar's Ayeyawady United will be enough for Persib Bandung to finish top of its group in the Asian Football Confederation Cup, but the reigning Indonesian Super League champion is gunning for all three points.

Persib, which will host the last group game of its AFC campaign at its Si Jalak Harupat stadium, leads Group H with 11 points, with Ayeyawady in second with nine.

"We will optimize every advantage we have," says Persib head coach Emral Abus. "Of course I won't tell you my strategy. But one thing's for sure: we're aiming for top spot in the group because that will give up home advantage in the next stage.

"A draw will be enough for us. But we want to win this match," he added.

Both Persib and Ayeyawady are unbeaten in this AFC Cup campaign. At their previous match in Pathein, Myanmar, they played to a 1-1 draw.

Emral said there was no room for complacency against the visitor.

"[Ayeyawady] is good team with several national team players in the side. They've got good focus and good transition from offense to defense. In our first encounter, they played cautiously," he said.

Ayeyawady head coach Marjan Sekulovski said his side was missing several players who were with the under-20 national side for the U-20 World Cup preparations, but was confident that his team could give Persib a run for its money.

"I know Persib Bandung are great team and they have great fans. But I also believe in my team, though we lost several players," he said. "I know I'm bringing my best team for the match and we will play our best."
