MYANMAR BEAT BY VIETNAM IN U-16 CUP OPENER

Myanmar is hosting Asian Football Federation U-16 Cup football
championship ahead of XXVII SEA Games at Wunna Theiddhi Stadium in Nay
Pyi Taw, the country's new capital.


Myanmar youth team lost to Vietnam in curtain drawer 4-0 Tuesday.


Myanmar will play Australia on 22 August, Brunei on 26 August and
Cambodia on 28 August in group league matches.


The semifinals will be held at the same venue on 31 August and the
final on 2 September.


MWD Variety Channel, a broadcasting channel by the military media
outlet Myawady, will air all Myanmar matches and semifinals and finals
live.


Myanmar will host XXVII SEA Games in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, Mandalay and
Ngwehsaung beach coming December.


It is the first-ever SEA Games to be hosted by Myanmar.
