Mitsubishi Electric of Japan provided the Maritime University of
Myanmar with advanced teaching aids and laboratory materials,
according to the official media report.
Peace Myanmar Electric Co Ltd, a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Electric,
donated 15 sets of Control and Automation Systems Components to
Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of one of the most
prestigious universities.
The donation ceremony was held in Sedona Hotel on 21 September, braced
with the appearance of deputy transport minister Han Sein.
The deputy minister thanked Peace Myanmar Co Ltd for donation of the
teaching aids that would profits various faculties.
Rector Dr Myat Lwin of the University accepted the materials from the company.
The Myanmar Maritime University in Thanlyin near the project of
Thilawa Special Economic Zone is the most active educational
institutes in Myanmar cooperating with international peers.
