Print An armed robber, who robbed, along with two others, a famous gold and jewelry shop in Mandalay,
Myanmar's second largest city in the north, has been captured after struggle, local media reported Wednesday.
Firing several shots with his pistol, the masked robber entered the private Maung Kein Gold and Jewelry Shop and broke the showcases and robbed the jewelry Tuesday near evening.
He left the shop and continued to fire shots on the street but was engaged in fight with a driver of the shop.
The robber lost consciousness after his head was hit and injured and was arrested, the report quoted a police official as saying.
The two other robbers escaped, the report said, adding that investigation is underway into the robbery case.
