SEA Games organizers said they would provide two entrance tickets to each media outlet both local and foreign for the closing ceremony of SEA Games, according to the government-run Myanma Alinn daily.
Only 300 tickets were shared to the media outlets for the opening ceremony on December 11, leaving some media outlets outside the stadium.
The organizers said the local media outlets will get the share of 300 tickets for the closing ceremony expected to be as grand as the opening ceremony while the rest will go to the foreign media.
The local and foreign correspondents could take out their entrance tickets at Main Press Centre at Maniyadana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw, according to the report.
The dazzling opening raised the public interest for the closing ceremony.
The organizers had issued a public appeal before the start of the games that the tickets for the opening and closing ceremonies could not be sold to full stadium capacity due to arrangements for the ceremonies.
