Union Election Commission is now planning a strategic masterplan ahead
of 2015 general elections.
The commission met civil society organizations and showed off its
master plan for 2015 general elections regarded by many to be a
critical juncture for Myanmar recently in Yangon.
The UEC organized an Election Risk Management Tool Workshop at its
office in Nay Pyi Taw Wednesday.
The workshop attended by UEC Chairman Tin Aye and relevant officials
was sponsored by International Institute for Democracy and Electoral
Assistance (IDEA).
UEC recently revealed that the by-elections would also be held in
constituencies which have no active MPs in the parliament soon.
