Nay Pyi Taw has got six new hotels in Myanmar's administrative capital
ahead of the upcoming SEA Games to be hosted in Myanmar in December,
according to Pyi Myanmar.
The opening ceremony of six hotels was held simultaneously in Nay Pyi
Taw on November 25.
Officials from Myanmar hotels and tourism ministry attended the
opening of six new hotels which will offer the total capacity of 445
rooms.
Among the newly opened hotels were one by ACE Group of Companies owned
by the incumbent sports minister Tint Hsan.
"We didn't open the hotel for the SEA Games alone. We've targeted the
long-term operation for international events to be hosted in
administrative city Nay Pyi Taw," Phyo Ko Ko Tint Hsan, CEO of the
company, told the Pyi Myanmar.
There are only four hotels which have yet to be opened in Nay Pyi Taw.
