MANDALAY TO GET A FLOOD HOTEL SOON

Finishing touches are being put to a kingly raft-alike cruise ship in
Mandalay jetty, according to the state-run Myanma Alinn daily.



The traditional architecture and designs are employed at the float
hotel aimed at the tourists seeking to cruise experience in the
cultural city of Myanmar.



"The construction started at Aung Naing Thu dock on Sagaing bank in
April, 2013," said the managing director of its owner GC company Tun
Tun.



"We have sough technical assistance from a Russian architect for
stability of the ship," explained the general manager.



The company has invested more than K 1 billion in the cuiseship.



The dock owned by the Inland Water Transport, the government water
transport agency, is finalizing the construction of the ship.



The ship will be equipped with two 3600 hp engines and will feature 38 rooms.
