Indian immigration officials have arrested two men claiming to be Burmese nationals after they were denied entry in the United Arab Emirates because they were found to be using fake passports, reports the Indian Tribune newspaper. The men, identified as Ansari Mehboob Alam and Gazi Najbul Hasan, held passports claiming that they were from India's Bihar and Andhra Pradesh states, respectively. However, officials in the UAE detained them when they discovered that they were not really Indian nationals, and sent them back to Pune International Airport in western India, where they told immigration officials that they are actually from Burma.
