A Singapore-based telecom company NeraTel is preparing to open its representative office in Myanmar, Daily Eleven reported Wednesday.
The Nera Telecommunications (Myanmar) Co Ltd, a subsidiary of the Singapore-based firm, has submitted the company registration in Myanmar and has been granted the temporary license.
NeraTel is the partner of Telenor and Ooredoo, both are successful bidders of Myanmar telecom auction a few months ago.
It will provide services to the companies for their operations in Indonesia and Malaysia.
It is providing services for satellite communications, microwave radio transmission, IT networking infrastructure and high value added electronic contract manufacturing services to the companies, says the report.
The company was established in 1978 and has operations in most ASEAN countries.
