Myanmar's famous sculptor Kyaw Kyaw Min will make sculptures of
veteran Myanmar athletes in honour of XXVII SEA Games, according to
Weekly Eleven report.
The sculptures of selected Myanmar athletes who brought glory to
Myanmar is scheduled to be made at Thuwanna Stadium, a major SEA Games
venue in Yangon on December 3-7.
Weightlifter San Myint, Tennis player Maung Zaw, athletes Aye Shwe and
Aung Hla and volleyball player Soe Thein are among famous Myanmar
athletes who would get the sculptures in their names.
Another artist Shwe Myint will also join Kyaw Kyaw Min with portraits
of veteran athletes of the country.
"Honouring an athlete is honouring the entire world of athletes," Kyaw
Kyaw Min said.
"It's a boost to morale of the athletes."
