The mobile team seized the merchandise after a tip about the illegal goods being imported through the Myawaddy border.
The seized cars were transported to a warehouse in the Yangon-Sule jetty. The team found illegal materials in all cars. The seizures included satellite receivers and related equipment, water coolers, speakers, fans, washing machines, milk powder and noodle packs.
Those involved will be charged under customs laws.
