MYANMAR HUGE MAN’S SINGAPORE SURGERY SUCCESSFUL

Despite unprecedented incidents, the operation of Myanmar's huge man
Win Zaw Oo on 3 September has proved successful, according to
professor Dr Khin Maung Win, who is helping the 33-year old with
gigantic body.

A cancer lobe in the nose and another cancer lobe are cleared in
operation, he told Pyi Myanmar daily.

The operation which had started at 7.45 am ended up at 4.15 am.
Surgeons said the operation is successful and his growth hormone
disease is expected to cure at all.

"Next week he will have to undergo growth hormone test. If the growth
hormone drops, the operation can be said to be successful," the
professor said.

The patient from a central Myanmar village has been moved from
Intensive Care Unit to ward as his condition is improving.
The cause of the disease is still unknown to today's medical world.
The Singaporean hospital is curing his disease and undergoing surgery
free of charge.

He will have to stay in Singapore for more than one month as the
doctors do not recommend taking flights within a month.
He is the second tallest living man in the world, according to the report.
