A local travel agency is helping visitors applying Thai Visa at one
stop in Tachilek as the Thai Visa has started to issue for border pass
as from 28 August, according to on line media Tachilek Online News.
Sawadee Holiaday travels and Tours Co Ltd is providing services to
those who are willing to visit Thailand with Visa.
Requirements for application of Visa are three license photos, one
household registration document copy, original passport and two
possessions in applicant's own name.
Visa applicants in Thailand are not required to submit possessions in
applicants' name and the term of the Visa is at least six months.
"Data of applicants are sent to Yangon HQ which works on it to get
Visas on every Saturdays. It takes only one week," an official of the
company told Tachilek Online News.
"The Thai Visa applicants are also required to submit residence in
Thailand.
They need recommendation if they are about to live at a
friend's residence. Or if they are about to live in hotel, they have
hotel booking evidence.
If the applicants do not understand the hotel
matter, we are also providing services for it," the source added.
"It would cut cost for travel to Yangon.
If one is required to go to
Yangon by himself/herself to Yangon for Visa, it is costly," a local
told Tachilek Online News.
