Myanmar's well-known artists joined Asian counterparts at the most famous arts exhibition in the region, according to the Myanmar Times report.

Myanmar artists, including artist Soe Naing, participated in Art Stage Singapore in Marina Bay Sands on January 16-19.

The event is the "networking platform" getting the Asian art market at one place. This year's event is entitled "We Are Asia".

Soe Naing, the painter for more than 10 years, is well known for his unruly strokes in black.

He was selected for "Intermission on Stage" by Yone Arts, a US-based arts gallery.

"Every day, I push my brush on the white paper, looking for balance between the dark and the light," the artist told the Myanmar Times.
