Myanmar will hold its second application exhibition in Yangon in coming March, according to a report by Yangon Press International, an online media group.
The AppsExpo 2014 is aimed at developing Myanmar's software industry and supplying the quality applications to the market.
The organizers held a press conference at Orchid Hotel in downtown Yangon on January 21.
The MICT Park in Yangon will host the event on March 8-9 and will get together all the software suppliers at one place, according to organizer Yangon Heartz's CEO Zaw Zaw Myo Lwin.
He said the event is not the "mere exhibition" and aimed at "promoting IT education".
Ooredoo, one of two international mobile services provider in Myanmar, will sponsor the event while local social network Squar co-sponsors it.
Ooredoo will also make presentations on innovation and employment at the event.
